Hence, the comprehensive NEET exam came into the light to replace several medical exams across the country, including the AIPMT (All India Pre-Medical Test, National Eligibility Test, and Entrance Test introduced by CBSE and Medical Council of India (MCI). Eligibility Criteria of NEET Examinations:

The National Entrance Eligibility Test is taken by the applicants in a pen-and-paper mode. Moreover, according to the authorities, there are several mandatory parameters that a candidate must meet to take the national NEET proficiency test, complete with the entrance test. Let’s find out what these parameters are:

  • Applicants must be citizens of India.
  • Applicants must be at least 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2022, in the year of admission.
  • Candidates must have completed Standard 12 with an overall score of 50% in individual subjects. The subjects include Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
  • Candidates in the SC/ST/OBC category are slight, as the minimum score required to get Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology in the HSC exam is 40% of the mark.
  • Since the decision on the upper age limit is not final by the Supreme Court, all candidates will receive temporary permission to take the exam.

NEET Exam Requirements:

Here are the main requirements for NEET exams:

  • NTA will publish application forms for NEET UG 2022 at neet.nta.nic.in. To take the entrance exam, you need to complete the application form and successfully submit it by the last date.
  • After the registration process, the candidate must pay attention to the NEET Registration Card. According to the previous year’s trend, the 2022 NEET admission card can appear on the official website 15 days before the exam date. However, no confirmation is available regarding the release date of the 2022 NEET registration card.
  • The 2022 NEET exam dates will come to light together with the official notification. Still, there are a few things that candidates should be aware of regarding the specific guidelines they must follow.
  • Immediately after completing the NEET full form exam, candidates must check the official website for unofficial answer keys. The official NEET 2022 answer key will come to light by the authorities one month after the exam.
  • The results of the NTA NEET exam come to light online by the authorities one month after the exam in the form of a scorecard.

NEET Counselling Process – Final Stage:

Upon receipt of the NEET 2022 scorecard, candidates can proceed to the NEET Counseling Enrollment, which the NTA conducts in three rounds. Based on their scores in the exam, they will get a place in these three rounds. This process will continue until the fulfillment of all government NEET seats. Admission to the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats at State Medical Colleges is through the Medical Consultative Committee (MCC) in conjunction with the Universities/centers, AFMS, and ESIC Institutes. The respective state counseling centers provide the remaining 85% of seats in the state contingent.
